Terms of Service

These Terms of Service apply to users and customers who access or use the Kashless website, mobile application, payment flows, prepaid balance features, store-specific balance features, kiosk-assisted top-ups, QR-based flows, BLE-enabled interactions, and participating merchant services.

“Kashless,” “the Platform,” “the App,” or “the Service” refers to the Kashless website, mobile application, payment and balance tools, merchant services, operational displays, and related platform features operated by the legal entity responsible for Kashless.

Digital Top-Ups

Digital top-ups may be processed through third-party providers such as Stripe or other payment infrastructure used by Kashless.

Physical Top-Ups

Physical top-ups may occur through merchant-operated or platform-supported kiosk flows and may be credited to a merchant-specific balance or other supported balance source depending on the active flow.

QR, BLE, and Device-Assisted Flows

Certain transactions may involve QR scanning, BLE communication, connected kiosks, or device-assisted operational flows. Successful transaction timing may depend on connectivity, merchant configuration, equipment state, synchronization, or related system conditions.

Payments

By confirming a payment, you authorize the debit of the applicable balance source selected or applied by the transaction flow.

Refunds and Reversals

Kashless or participating merchants may apply platform fees, processing fees, operational charges, or business-specific fees depending on the transaction type, merchant model, processor structure, or applicable commercial arrangement. Where applicable, relevant fees should be disclosed before confirmation or through the relevant merchant or platform terms.

Some participating businesses may enable operational display tools such as public business monitors showing equipment or service availability. These displays are intended to show business operational status, machine naming, or equipment availability and are not intended to display personal customer information.

10. Suspension and Termination

Kashless may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the service in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, noncompliance, legal risk, technical misuse, payment disputes, operational risk, or breach of these Terms. Users may stop using the service at any time, subject to applicable legal, balance, processor, dispute, or fraud-review requirements.

11. Service Availability and Operational Limits

Availability of the Kashless service may depend on third-party processors, business-side equipment, kiosk hardware, BLE communication, network connectivity, synchronization timing, merchant configuration, and other technical factors. Kashless does not guarantee uninterrupted service or exact timing of transaction synchronization in all circumstances.

12. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The service is provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kashless will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including delays, synchronization issues, merchant-side equipment problems, processor interruptions, or third-party service failures.

These Terms are intended to be interpreted under the laws and jurisdiction designated by the legal entity responsible for Kashless and the final production legal framework adopted by the platform.
