1. Who We Are
“Kashless,” “the Platform,” “the App,” or “the Service” refers to the Kashless website, mobile application, payment and balance tools, merchant services, operational displays, and related platform features operated by the legal entity responsible for Kashless.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
- You must be legally capable of using the service and entering into binding agreements under applicable law.
- You are responsible for providing accurate account information and keeping it updated.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for activity under your account.
- Kashless may request identity, email, phone, or account verification for security, fraud prevention, or operational reasons.
3. Description of the Service
Kashless may allow users to:
- Create and manage an account.
- Hold and use a general balance, where enabled.
- Hold and use merchant-specific or store-specific balance through store card flows.
- Load value digitally or through physical kiosk-assisted flows, where available.
- Make payments with supported balances at participating businesses.
- Review transaction history, account activity, and related service records.
4. General Balance and Store Cards
- General Balance may be used across participating businesses when enabled by the platform.
- Store Cards represent value associated with a specific merchant or business and may be limited to that merchant only.
- Store-specific balance is not a bank account, does not earn interest, and is not a government-insured deposit product unless expressly stated otherwise.
- Displayed balances may be affected by synchronization timing, reversals, reconciliation, fraud review, processor events, or system correction.
5. Top-Ups, Payments, Reversals, and Refunds
Digital Top-Ups
Digital top-ups may be processed through third-party providers such as Stripe or other payment infrastructure used by Kashless.
Physical Top-Ups
Physical top-ups may occur through merchant-operated or platform-supported kiosk flows and may be credited to a merchant-specific balance or other supported balance source depending on the active flow.
QR, BLE, and Device-Assisted Flows
Certain transactions may involve QR scanning, BLE communication, connected kiosks, or device-assisted operational flows. Successful transaction timing may depend on connectivity, merchant configuration, equipment state, synchronization, or related system conditions.
Payments
By confirming a payment, you authorize the debit of the applicable balance source selected or applied by the transaction flow.
Refunds and Reversals
- Physical cash top-ups are generally treated as final unless required otherwise by law or caused by a verified technical error.
- Refund handling may depend on applicable law, platform rules, processor requirements, and the refund policies of the participating merchant.
- Fraud, disputes, chargebacks, duplicate processing, or technical corrections may result in reversals, adjustments, restrictions, or account review.
6. Fees
Kashless or participating merchants may apply platform fees, processing fees, operational charges, or business-specific fees depending on the transaction type, merchant model, processor structure, or applicable commercial arrangement. Where applicable, relevant fees should be disclosed before confirmation or through the relevant merchant or platform terms.
7. Device Permissions and Technology
- Camera access may be used for QR code scanning.
- Bluetooth permissions may be used for kiosk interaction, nearby device communication, and BLE-supported operational flows.
- Internet access may be used for synchronization, payment confirmation, dashboard reporting, balance updates, service integrity, and general platform functionality.
8. Public Operational Displays
Some participating businesses may enable operational display tools such as public business monitors showing equipment or service availability. These displays are intended to show business operational status, machine naming, or equipment availability and are not intended to display personal customer information.
9. Prohibited Conduct
- Attempting to manipulate balances, machine states, payment flows, kiosk behavior, store card records, or transaction history.
- Using the platform for fraudulent, unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or unauthorized purposes.
- Interfering with QR, BLE, kiosk, monitor, or business equipment flows through unauthorized technical methods.
- Impersonating another user, merchant, operator, or business.
10. Suspension and Termination
Kashless may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the service in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, noncompliance, legal risk, technical misuse, payment disputes, operational risk, or breach of these Terms. Users may stop using the service at any time, subject to applicable legal, balance, processor, dispute, or fraud-review requirements.
11. Service Availability and Operational Limits
Availability of the Kashless service may depend on third-party processors, business-side equipment, kiosk hardware, BLE communication, network connectivity, synchronization timing, merchant configuration, and other technical factors. Kashless does not guarantee uninterrupted service or exact timing of transaction synchronization in all circumstances.
12. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The service is provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kashless will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including delays, synchronization issues, merchant-side equipment problems, processor interruptions, or third-party service failures.
13. Governing Law and Contact
These Terms are intended to be interpreted under the laws and jurisdiction designated by the legal entity responsible for Kashless and the final production legal framework adopted by the platform.
